History:

Not much is known about the history of this species. Their homeworld, Makoidia, suffers from effects of a biological war which took places years ago. Now the inhabitants live in underground bunkers waiting for the time when their planet will be inhabitable once again. Now to keep their underground world functioning they acquire slaves from passing vessels and put them to work. The inhabitants of Makoidia are a lazy species they do not wish to do the hard work.

Medical Data:

Star Fleet doctors have studied this species blood and have speculated that this species is somehow related to or is of the Q continuum. Doctors have named their blood Q blood and are further studying the samples they have acquired from Dr. Paul Padria Malari, USS Scoperta, Delta Fleet.

First Contact:

The USS Scoperta was sent out to study this newly discovered planet. On arrival the first officer, Commander Satarius, and an away team transported down to the surface. Commander Satarius fell through an access tube leading to the underground bunkers these people live in. From there on the inhabitants were friendly with the crew of the Scoperta allowing them to visit them at their comfort. Captain NVek and Lt. J.G. Kirtley were later taken captive by these people and put to work as a slave. The leader of these people, Notsouh, informed the crew of the Scoperta of an accident that has occurred and that the Captain and the security officer were lost. Eventually the officers were rescued and the Scoperta left the planet. Nothing of these people have been heard of since.
