In Character Fleet News is news within the Star Trek Universe that has to do with the Unified Fleet.

A comet on a collision course with Star Base Phoenix has been diverted from its path with the star base. Long range scans detect the comet 1000 light-years from its previous position. An amazing new technology was used to divert the comets course. Star Fleet technicians are now studying this new method of transportation. It is an artificial singularity generator from the 2700s. More is being learned about this technology at the moment.

Unified Fleet News

Star Fleet weaponry has gone missing throughout Federation space. Officials from several other species have also reported certain supplies mission from their spaces. Investigators have been just starting to investigate these disappearances of supplies. Officials from Romulas also report the same problem, but provide an answer to this problem. Ambassador Trolan of Romulas reveals to us that a group of Romulans have been gathering various supplies from different locations. The ambassador told us this, "These rebels are of the old traditions. They seek out to disrupt this alliance between our two peoples" The Tal Shiar of Romulas is also dealing with these rebels, but the rebellion movement is growing quickly among the non-reunified Romulans. The Romulan Praetor, TRok trOlek , has said, "Romulas still wants the peace between our peoples to continue. And we are doing everything within our power to do this." Unified Fleet New

Federation Colony IV has been feeling the effects of theta radiation for the past week. Radiation poisoning has sickened about 10% of the colony. They have sent a distress call to the Unified Fleet for assistance in treating the radiation illness and removing the cause of it. Long-range scans reveal nothing emitting this theta radiation. The USS Explorer has been sent out to investigate this mysterious radiation. More information on this story will come as it develops

-Star Base Phoenix Mission Report-

The Star Base Phoenix is still under construction and awaiting crew. Star Base Phoenix have been constructing two new vessels for the fleet, the USS Star Runner and the USS Huntress. Their crews are now starting to join and the Star Runner is on her maiden voyage. Once the base is ready a conference between Romulas officials and Unified Fleet officials will begin as an opening discussion.

-USS Explorer Mission Report-The USS Explorer is the first operational vessel within the fleet. Her first mission was to divert a comets course from hitting the newly made Star Base. It was a success. By using a futuristic transportation device that hurtled the comet 1000 light-years away.

During the end of the mission the Captain was pulled into a temporal fracture which left him in an alternate timeline. In this timeline the Romulan Star Empire and the Federation were at war. Captain Kirtley was captured by the alternate USS Explorer and was held in its brig. Sub-Commander NVek chaRal, a Romulan scientist, helped Captain Kirtley escape from that timeline and back to his rightful one.

At the moment the USS Explorer is on its way to Federation Colony IV to check out some strange theta radiation. On route they are trying to flush out some rebel Romulans that are believed to be onboard.-USS Star Runner Mission Report-

The USS Star Runner is about to embark on her shake down mission to explore and L-Class planet for colonization. Her current crew is small, but I have faith it will grow in time. Good luck-USS Huntress Mission Report-
