Monthly Unified Fleet Report By the Command Council, Unified Fleet Dear all Unified Fleet crewmembers, Heres the latest addition of the Monthly Unified Fleet Report. This report is for the month of March and just a little of the end of February. Enjoy all the great information thats below! Its amazing our fleet has gained so many new members in the past month! Im very happy with the success weve been having and the good remarks the crew members within the fleet has said about us. Most of our members are coming from 10f thanks to all of you that are recruiting and welcome to the new comers! There is now a Romulan/Federation dictionary that may make things more interesting when your missions involve Romulans. I have also added the Hall Of Fame for the winners of the monthly contests Hope to see your name there! Many things have been added to the database check em out. Ship/Star Base Missions- Mission summaries of each ship and star base. USS Star Runner Mission 2 Finished- 3/06/03-3/29/03 Mission 3 Started- 3/29/03- After some relaxation at StarBase Phoenix and some well needed repairs to the ship the crew were expecting a simple reserach mission. After the shock of the Commander's betrayal, Lt. Commander N'Vek cha'Ral was promoted to Commander assigned as Executive Officer onboard the USS StarRunner. The crew departed from SB Phoenix refreshed and ready. They were now undertaking their original mission, to investigate a Class L planet for colonization. They arrived at the planet without any problems but soon discovered that the planet was inhabited. They investigated for a while and found an unusual device which was emitting strange energy waves. They also encountered several young aliens, who they believed were called the Vok, but were unable to revive them. After further study it was determined that the device was having an adverse effect on the crew and soon, one-by-one, they slipped into a comatose state similar to the young Vok. It was revealed by extensive research by the LMH and Ensign Athenos that the device was linking the crew via itself to form a super computer. That explained why the Vok found in the cavern were unconscious and the away-teams were slowly succombing to the effects. The ship then became succeptable to the device. The device recognised the biological patterns of the Bio-neural gel-packs and connected with it causing the crew to lose control of the ship. However the people in the coma state were capable of controlling the ship and with their assitance a plan was utilised to disable the generator device. Mission Log: Star date 55240 The Star Runner was forced to land on the planet's surface after all systems began to fail during the link to the device. Our Chief Engineer managed to establish shielding to protect us from the device's effects after studying the data the LMH and Ensign Athenos gathered. With the crew now coming to consciousness we have little time before the shields fail and we all become succeptable once again. I have ordered an away team to try and disable the device thus saving the Vok people. Mission Log Supplemental I have received a priority one transmission from Admiral Anderson about a wormhole which has formed close to Star Base Phoenix. Through the Base received a distress signal from the Delta Quadrant and now the Star Runner has been ordered to investigate. USS Explorer Mission 3 Started- 3/05/03 The USS Explorer is preparing on their journey to retrieve a futuristic weapon ship that has appeared in federation space. Two Ferengii cruiser have been sited heading towards the position of this weapon ship. We can not let then have it, that will be our mission, to get that weapon before it falls into the wrong hands. USS Huntress Mission 1 Finished- 2/18/03-3/29/03 Mission 2 Started- 2/29/03 We have just finished our first mission. We went after some Romulan Rebels to get the stolen weapons. When we got to them they opened fire on us. We battled for couple of hours until we disabled there ship. We then put them in our brig. We recovered the weapons and then tractored their ship back to star base phoenix. Ship(s) of the Month- The ship(s) that has the highest posting record of the month.
