The doors to sickbay wooshed open and closed in it's quiet rythmic pattern
as crew left and entered. she heard hushed voices

"yes.....mumble mumble...."

She could tell Dr. Malari was discussing her condition with someone, she was
guessing the Commodore.

"YES!" she shouted from her biobed "I'm FINE thank you!"

the two emerged from the door into her room, her look was still unamused.
There was no damage, a simple second degree plasma burn to her side. That
strange woman obviously had horrible aim.

Copeland "Would you like to tell me what happened ?"

Barlett " I was on deck 6, making my way down to the rendevous point when I
noticed this woman standing in a corner, she was fidgeting, looking at me
and then glancing away., so I addressed her, that's when I contacted you,
and I was moving towards her. there was a vague resemblance to the picture
we have on database of that species, anyway, she was fidgeting wtih
something, so i put my hand on my phaser, but I didnt want to disrupt
anything. when I got close I realized she was fidgeting with a phaser, and
that's when she said "No" at the top of her lungs and attempted to kill me.
she Vapourized before my eyes. But I'm fine, Really!"

Copeland nodded, obviously deep in thought and turned to Malari "When will
she be ready for duty"

Malari - "Although she's going to be sore and have a bit of trouble getting
around, she's fine now."

Barlett - "Im FINE"

she slid off the biobed and stepped gingerly on the ground. The two men
grinned. "I'm Fine, REALLY" She affirmed.

Copeland and Avery walked out of sickbay, Avery tried to keep up with his
pace, but had to slow him a bit.

Barlett - "So, did anyone else have any luck ?"

Copeland - "Mr. N'Vek found something interesting, Science is analyzing the
item as we speak."

Barlett - "In Engineering ?"

Copeland - "Yes, any word on the explosion as of yet ?"

Barlett - "Mr. Data is investigating the incident. I'll inform you when he
sends me a report. I'm going to have someone analyze the beam signature
from the station to see if we cant figure out where she ended up."

Copeland nodded, Barlett headed off down to Engineering to check up on
Science with N'Vek's discovery as Copeland headed to the bridge.

Meanwhile, on a deck not too far away on the Scoperta, a Woman dressed in a
cloak slowly sneaks through the corridors, trying not to be discovered. She
looks a little nervous.
