For years this species was hunted down by the Borg. They were a very intelligent species, but not very good in military aspects. They fell easily to the Borg. The Borg have been using them as a supply of drones. Whenever they need more drones they attack and assimilate their people. After each attack they learn more and begin to rebuild their society. Since they are continuously persecuted by the Borg they have become a closed society. They are peaceful and do not wish to get anymore enemies then what they have.

After many confrontations with the Borg their level of technology has grown very much. They now have anti-assimilation devices that stop a person from becoming a drone. They have special cloaks that hide themselves from the Borg. They dont have a very large fleet of ships, but each ship has very strong defense shielding and strong armored hull plating.

When the USS Scoperta was sent out to find this species the Captain of one of their vessels shot down the USS Scopertas first Captain, Captain Avery Barlett, on the alien space station. After that we were boarded by a group of the aliens, but they were cloaked. After they studied us and found that we were not the species that had been spying on them they left us. After a chase we spoke with them and receive one of their anti-assimilation devices. After that Administrator Gamus spoke with us and we made peace with them. They sent some more information on theyre Borg defense devices. Then we helped them with finding the people who were spying on them.
